You may have noticed I haven’t blogged for a month! I have been neglectful but with good reason. I have been working although that is no more (for now). I have also been volunteering at our local food bank. It is a sad state of affairs that in 2018 there are families and single people stuck in a benefits/work void that finds them having to seek help from such places. These food parcels are not handed out willy nilly, beneficiaries have to actively seek help to find a way out of their situation. I work in the warehouse where the donations are received, sorted into type and date order then distributed to centres around the town to be handed out. I find it rewarding to be of some small use to this great service.
I have also joined a choir. I love to sing, mainly in the car or the shower, it’s not great! BUT it doesn’t matter. It’s a small community choir mainly singing pop and obviously Christmas songs and I love it!
I have also been a busy crafter. I made Christmas cards for Hailsham Stamp Club ladies, tags for a swap and also to put onto prezzies. I have made bunting, ATCs, Coins and Inchies for the monthly swaps on UK Stampers Forum. I love doing these, it makes me think about my stamping. I have always been a clean and simple stamper (who doesn’t need any more craft stuff) and I love to use up my stash.
