This weekend we celebrated my Son’s 30th and my Mother-in-Law’s 90th birthdays. We had a lovely meal out with family on Friday and a party on Saturday. Here she is with Billy.
I was grateful for a free day yesterday especially as the sun was out as I was able to get into the garden for a tidy up. I made MIL an exploding box filled with photos of her, (mainly eating or drinking, we do spoil her when she stays with us). It also had a secret pocket with details of a surprise holiday to Weymouth in June. She was so excited.
At this month’s Hailsham Stamp Club we were set a Steampunk themed card using Sepia. I made this gatefold card using a Woodware stamp. It’s one stamp but looks like clever collaging. I used Versafine Sepia ink on white card. Simple but effective.
The ATC swap theme was Spring. Here are my 3 and my swaps.
And My March Bunting and the one I received.
We are all prepped for Mexico, only a week to go. Isabella drew a picture of her pool float. She’s so clever and her writing is beautiful.
We get back the day before April’s club meeting so I am doing everything now so there’s no panicking when we get back. Prepare to be bombarded with wedding pictures next time.
