Wow, how fast do things change in these strange times. We are in week 14 of Lockdown and things are starting to get back to “normal”. Shopping is less stressful as more shops start to open and it has been nice to see more people. I am just waiting now until I can get my hair done and go to the pub.
As you may know I run a monthly stamp club, we are 12 ladies who started meeting regularly when I opened my craft shop on 2004 and we just kept going. As soon as lockdown began I organised a Zoom call for us to catch up on the night we should have been meeting and we all enjoyed it so much we have continued this on a weekly basis. Some of my ladies live alone and I think this has made us feel more connected. As a result I have been setting weekly projects to inspire them to keep stamping. We have made inspirational placques from craft sticks, created backgrounds using shaving foam and masterboard techniques, made dotty cards and made cards from packaging materials. This week we are making envelope books. Here are some of my makes so far.

We have also carried on our ATC swaps which we will actually swap when we are eventually allowed to meet up. We have done Buildings, Lockdown and Birds.

I also made some mini concertina books inspired by Tracy Evans regular FB lives. I love her style.

Hopefully this will all be over soon and life will return to normal. See you again soon….
